LGBT History Month - Assembly
LGBT History Month assembly. Focus on LGBT history in the 20th and 21st century and the importance of having symbols to gather around such as the rainbow flag or even the pink triangle. It also deals with current challenges in some countries such as Russia or the Chechen Republic.

Range of activities based on authentic material from the Canadian government’s “le guide alimentaire canadien” The lesson includes:
a reading activity with a worksheet
a listening activity based on a video
a writing activity based on the guide

It can be used for Y9, IGCSE/GCSE or even the IB.
LGBT History Month (KS3, KS4, KS5)
Set of 3 lessons designed for either tutor time or full lessons for KS3, 4 & 5. All lessons features short informative activities.
KS3 focuses on the terminology and challenges facing LGBT History Month
KS4 focuses on challenges faced by LGBT teenagers (suicide rates, attacks, etc.)
KS5 focuses on Section 28

Holocaust Memorial Day 2023 - January 27th
On 27 January 2023, Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) is observed in 46 countries, including the UK. I have put together the following resource for PSHE - it can take 30 to 60 minutes. Be mindful that the main video is 21 minutes long. I have added other tasks including extension tasks.
