A lesson presentation on how to calculate and compare durations of time. It works well after teaching the conversion between 12 and 24 hour time. It teaches children how to calculate time durations using number lines and jumps and also how to convert hours to minutes. It is aimed at LKS2 for Y4 but can also be used easily for UKS2 and Y5 and Y6 classes. It includes teaching slides and practice questions. There is work instructions included on the presentation but you can change the book/activity that you want the children to do. A Smart Notebook file.
