A 79-slide PowerPoint on the GCSE English Language paper 1 exam. Excellent for exam practise. The resource is split into 5 parts for each specific question. Each question (e.g. bullet point, impressions, HOW etc) has 5-8 practise questions and model answers. Worked very well with my grade 4-7 students. A paper I have made for the L1 FS English reading exam. Same structure as a normal exam.

A revision paper on Q5 (the evaluation question) on the paper 1 reading exam. It is for the EDUQAS exam board but could be used for any. It is based on an extract from the Sally Rooney novel, Normal People. My students enjoyed it. Aimed at grade 4-6 students. An informative and interactive lesson looking at using sentence starters to improve any type of writing. The PowerPoint has individual & group tasks and uses videos (mainly Ricky Gervais) to grab the students' attention. Also includes a grade 9 exemplar work that uses sentence starters successfully. THREE SEPARATE Fun anagram starters. The students are given a list of celebrities / foods/ countries/ movies/ animals. All of the letters have been jumbled up. They have an allotted time to unscramble all the words. Activity and cut-out cards included.
