In this fun class or individual lesson, students learn about dynamics. The Trex is a loud note and the mice are soft notes. This game was originally created for drum students both in group and one-to-one settings. However this can easily be adapted to suit other instruments and / voice.
This resource can be used as a warm up or an end of lesson activity or even used for an entire lesson.
This is a resource designed for drummers who are just starting out but can easily be developed to suit more advanced players.
This product contains an interactive keynote and powerpoint presentation. When used on a tablet students can select the cards they want by tapping on the screen. When used on a computer a simple mouse click will suffice.
A PDF of the presentation is also included should handouts be needed for students.
Engage your students with this fun way of learning rhythms.

Rhythm Master II - the new audible version of the Rhythm Master game!
Based on retro computer games of the 80’s and 90’s this game is designed to be a call and response exercise for classrooms and small groups.
Another variant is to play this as a last person standing game, with students taking it in turns to play each pattern and sitting down if they play the pattern incorrectly. Last student left standing is the rhythm master!
Presenter / Teacher notes for each lesson are provided.
This course is perfect as a stand alone ‘one off’ game / exercise as well as a great addition to your existing music syllabus. The game does not have to be taught in it’s entirety, you could choose to play one level per class / week. Each level can be used as a stand alone lesson; perfect for looking at rhythm with a variety of age groups.

Please note that this game was created on apple’s keynote. I have included a powerpoint version although the animations / transitions will not be the same.
Engage your students with this fun card game.

This resource provides 2 sets of dominos which are designed to be cut out.
PDFs of both text and music symbols are provided.
There are several ways to incorporate this into your lesson (please feel free to share what you come up with)! I personally would go with getting students to match the musical symbols with the different creepy crawly pictures then mix them up and see if you can’t have a good game of dominos!
This resource is a great addition to the Rhythm Master, Cue Card and creepy crawly colouring in worksheets.
A few blank dominos are provided at the foot of each page.
