This teaching resource is perfect for children who are learning English and want to learn about Pancake Day! The resource includes a listening exercise transcript for the teacher to read out, a quiz and a recipe for British pancakes. The listening exercise will help students improve their listening skills and comprehension of English. After the exercise, the quiz will test their knowledge of what they have just listened to. This ‘Have and Has’ activity is an excellent way for your students to practise using has and have correctly in their own sentences. Students choose two cards from the PowerPoint and create their own silly sentence using ‘have’ or ‘had’. They could write it down or say it.
