This lesson pack employs a poem entitled ‘Madrigal apasionado’ by the Spanish poet Federico García Lorca. First, students read the original Spanish version of the poem and complete four tasks. They then read a short informative passage about some of the things to consider when translating a piece of creative writing and complete another four tasks, including listening to a musical rendition of the poem with Spanish guitar.
