Use this timetable from the first week back in January to allow students to start to prepare for their PHYSICS exams in the summer. They can count down the days using this FREE resource.
Bold sections are for H tier so F students can repeat a previous question (or an activity of your choice)
Italics are the triple sections so trilogy/synergy students can repeat a previous question (or an activity of your choice)
Enjoy

A brief powerpoint with the 4 electric charge calculations. The ppt asks to rearrange them and contains the answers to the worksheet.
A brief look at the calculations for higher tier students that could be used for revision
Practical resources to investigate if wing length makes a difference to the speed a parachute seed falls to the ground.
Template gives 4x seeds - cut along the dotted line and fold one wing behind and one wing in front. These can be trimmed.
Also attached is the investigation plan.
The resource contains 10 teacher led demonstrations some of which students can also do, all focussing on the gas pressure laws (Gay-Lussacs, Boyles and Charles) and their relationships.
The powerpoint also includes data students could plot to further understand the relationships.
I have also included the foldable that students can use to further discover the relationships between temperature, volume and pressure. This can be used in conjunction with the powerpoint lesson ideas.
I hope you find it useful especially if you a non specialist or you find yourself teaching this new area of the Physics curriculum.
