**Probability & Times Tables Maths Game: Higher or Lower? ** Superb starter or plenary for any maths lesson! Great for having fun with times tables and probability. . This presentation includes 8 games: 2 games containing numbers in the 10 times tables 2 games containing numbers in the 5 times tables 2 games containing numbers in the 2 times tables 2 games containing numbers from 1 to 10 . How to play: Flip over the first card. Ask a child to say if they think the next card will be ‘higher’ or ‘lower’ than the card displayed. If they get the answer correct, they continue. If they get the answer wrong, start over with another child. You can make each game easier by displaying all the possible numbers. Then just cross them off as they appear in the game (the children will know exactly what numbers are remaining thus increasing their chances of winning).

Times Tables Flash Cards & Tracking Sheet

Times Tables Flash Cards & Tracking Success Sheet Every child can use this excellent times tables tracking / success sheet. Children work in pairs (using the flash cards provided) and progress at their own rate. Times tables are consolidated and tested frequently. When a child is able to recite a ‘set’ of times tables flash cards in random order (without mistakes or hesitation), a person will write their initials in the attempt box on the tracking sheet and date it. A child needs 3 initials (3 correct attempts) to move onto the next set of flash cards. Once a child has completed a whole stage, an adult will test them. If they pass the test, they move onto the next stage! *** PLEASE NOTE: You will need to print off and put the flash cards together before you begin … they are all attached!!***
