Use this PDF in your own lesson presentations and or print it out, laminate it and display it in classrooms and around your department. This is useful in instilling literacy and maintaining continuity throughout the RS department. Included in the pack are various options. You can either print off the A4 sheet and laminate with the word already printed onto it or as we do, print off a blank template, laminate it and stick a different word on it each week. This resource is based on a standard deck of 52 playing cards. For this resource you require a deck of cards. You should then give every child in your class a card and use the random generator to select a card and the person with the chosen card gets asked a question during the lesson. There is a selection of options for you to use. Shuffled cards with music, Shuffled cards without music and an un-shuffled deck. Each of the options is presented in two different ways for you to use. Emoji Selector-Interactive This can be used for any activity. Choose a topic, spin the selector and the pupils have to volunteer their responses based on the emojis that are randomly selected. This is a really fun AFL Activity! Teacher Instructions: You can copy and paste the Emoji selector slide into any presentation you wish or use the slide as a standalone resource. This was designed for an inspection lesson, that was rated 'excellent' and was taken by the lead inspector as a sample of hight quality resources and good practice. It contains a selection of quotes for the religions of Judaism and Christianity that can be used during revision, answering mock exam questions or with everyday lessons. Our advice is to printout the three sheets, cut them out, stick pages 3 and 4 together and laminate pages 2 and 3&4 then bind them through the centre with a paper fastening split pin. The wheel should spin freely for you!

This is a fun way to ensure pupil participation in lessons this Halloween season. The PowerPoint is completely editable. It has space to up to 36 pupil names. We have suggested three of the 36 slides be used as ‘teacher to answer’ but this can easily be edited depending on the number of pupils in each class. Christmas: Naughty or Nice Gauge Sheets included (19 Pages) This is a fun activity that you can do with your class to create their very own Naughty or Nice gauge.
