An engaging week of Christmas story writing for KS2. Includes planning, PPTs, resources and modelled texts, all ready-to-go. Enjoy teaching the well planned writing activities for each day, designed for a variety of learners. Be confident that your pupils will master this tricky skill by answering word problems set in realistic and engaging contexts. Develop their understanding of number as they relate to the people in these problems and consolidate their other mathematical skills such as: addition, subtraction, measure and time. Enhance their problem solving skills as each interesting question is multi-step so will be excellent preparation for end of term and year reasoning tests. Challenge your class even further by asking them to convert their decimal answer back to a fraction for each question. Extend those quick finishers with two reasoning challenge questions and an open ended reasoning question. Print all the answers provided for quick and easy marking and assessment.
