This lesson examines the efforts of different actors in tackling the effects of climate change. Students will look into the role of the following treaties/organisations: UNFCCC IPCC There is also an examination of the main international summits to tackle climate change: Stockholm Conference Montreal Protocol Rio Earth Summit Kyoto Protocol Copenhagen Summit Paris Agreement Students will then examine the role other actors play in the development of methods to tackle climate change, including national governments, cities, NGOs and MNCs.
