This resource engages middle and upper primary and/or middle school or lower secondary grades with the Haiku form of poetry. The resource includes a Powerpoint Slideshow and a sequence of lesson activities, suggestions for engaging variations and challenges, a list of online resources and editable and adaptable assessment documents, based on a Learning Intention and Success Criteria.

These are fully editable PowerPoint slides, frames can be inserted, deleted, or resized as required.

A versatile and engaging cross-curriculum Christmas resource to spark students imaginations! This resource comprises eight suggestions for a variety of imaginative and persuasive writing projects, each task offering an opportunity to incorporate an art and design element. Students will be able to work independently or collaboratively on the tasks. The prompts provide creative inspiration for every writer. Suggested texts include narrative, play or film scripts, news report, advertising (print and screen), comic strip, poetry, parody, menu, invitations and social media mock-ups. Choose a class task that supports your current literacy focus, (or series of task) or allow students to choose their own.
