Behaviour Contract Bundle | Improving Monitoring | Head of Year and Pastoral Leaders

3 Resources
In this resource, you will find 2 behaviour contracts and a individual behaviour plan. The first contract is a student led, informal behaviour contract. This is to get students reflecting on their behaviour as a step prior to having a parental meeting. Students can complete this with their teacher, head of year or form tutor and it doesn’t need parents to be present. The second contract is parent-carer and student behaviour contract. This is a more formal contract which may be used when behaviour becomes more concerning and parent-carer is invited in for a formal meeting before further measures are put in place. This may form part of a behaviour panel and has space to be signed by parents to make the process more formal. This is detailed behaviour plan which is useful to reflect on triggers and plans for dealing with behaviour. It’s great for sharing with staff who teach the student with poor behaviour. Head of English - Curriculum Lead - In Tray - Interview Preparation Task - Curriculum Design

Head of English - Curriculum Lead - In Tray - Interview Preparation Task - Curriculum Design

(0)
In this resource, you will find a task designed to help you prepare for an English head of department interview. Specifically, this is a task using a fictionalised curriculum model. You are asked to explain how you would improve the model taking into account a 5 year curriculum. The task also asks you to consider curriculum intent and pupil entitlement to run alongside it. During an interview, you may be asked to complete an in tray of this nature, but you may also be asked to explain your thoughts and theories on curriculum intention and implementation - so this practice model/task is a great way to think about the changes you’d make to a curriculum you have never seen Please make sure you follow me on facebook: facebook.com/teachcoach

SENDCo SENCo SEN Special Education Support | Example Supporting Application Covering Letter 2

(0)
This resource is a second example application letter for the position of SENCo in a secondary school. This letter should be developed by including your own examples of where you have completed the points referenced and the impact of that work as well as your learning from the work you have completed. This letter is for guidance only and should not used exclusively to apply for a SENCo role but instead used to support the writing of your own letter. Letters should always be tailored to the school you are applying to and your own experiences. This template is 2 pages long. This resource is aimed a secondary school SENCo role, but could provide ideas for other stages of education also. Please note: covering letters should not exceed 2 pages in length. I never recommend sending blanket templates for prospective roles and always advise an application is tailored to you and the school.

CPD Lead | Teaching and Learning Coach | Teaching Mentor Application Covering Letter

(0)
In this resource, you will find a 4 page example teacher coach/teaching mentor/CPD lead application letter or supporting statement. These are usually roles which lead on coaching teachers and offering teaching and learning support for staff within school and are often internal positions. These may also be staff who lead on CPD, who audit CPD needs within school and work as a team with the SLT link for learning and teaching. This letter is useful if you are applying for any of these roles and should give you a great starting point. This resource is full of ideas for your own letter and is a great base for writing your own application. I always recommend making sure your own letter fits descriptions for roles and never send a blanket letter to schools or for internal positions.
