This resource includes 2 assemblies: a transition assembly for use when students arrive and a transition reward assembly for at the end of transition.
The first transition assembly designed to be used as the first assembly which students will see as they arrive at your school. This is designed to be delivered by pastoral leaders/HOY.

This resource is a 15 sheet tracker designed to be used for up to three classes. It includes:
a sheet to track data for each group, including SEN information, PP and ability info, as well as having a space for your teaching notes about students, gender and student name
a sheet to track assessment data including baseline data and up to 6 assessments which (you can add more as needed)
a homework tracker for you to track the title of each piece, who has completed each piece and space for you to record sanctions

In this resource you will find an adaptable 6 week monitoring card for students who attendance is below 95%-96% depending on the school.
The card includes space for tutors or pastoral staff to write the attendance each week, space for a school target, an image explaining great attendance and a space for a review at the end of the 6 weeks. This resource is an assembly focused on Raising Aspirations. It focuses on challenging student perceptions of HE/FE and looks at the example of a paralympic swimmer to show overcoming adversity.
The assembly contains:
a starter slide using positive quotes about overcoming challenges alongside motivational and inspiring music which is embedded. The first slide also contains the objective: ‘To explore aspirations, fear and expecting more of ourselves.’ It asks students questions about fear and what fear does for holding us back.

This resource is a PSHE style lesson introducing the concept of British Values. It focuses on challenging perceptions of British Values only being ‘British’ and instead focuses on asking students to think about the values as being values important to everyone. It also challenges stereotypes of what it means to be British.
The second half of this session uses Grenfell Tower as an example of how British Values can be demonstrated in a time of extreme challenge and focuses on how those in the tower and those who supported after the events demonstrated British values.
This lesson is completely ready for use and comprises of a powerpoint as well as an A3 learning mat.
