A set of guided notes on what density is and how it relates to states of matter and factors that affect it. It includes a link to a simulation where you can manipulate objects to show how density is impacted when volume and mass change. Determining Density Labs

(0)
This set includes two density labs. The first lab asks students to find the mass and volume of regularly and irregularly shaped objects in order to determine their density. The second lab asks students to once again determine the mass and volume of irregularly shaped objects in order to determine their density, but students will use an overflow can to determine volume.
