Fiction and Imaginative Writing - Edexcel GCSE English Language (9-1), Paper 1, Section A - Reading

(0)
A series of 11 lessons guiding students through the Reading section (section A) of Fiction and Imaginative Writing, Edexcel GCSE English Language (2015, 9-1), Paper One. Covering AO1, AO2, and AO4, this lesson series guides students through finding implicit and explicit evidence, analysing linguistic and structural features, evaluating effective techniques, embedding quotations, structuring answers, and working to time. The course was developed with a top set class, but could easily be adapted to suit a range of students. The lessons use a range of extracts from 19th Century texts, including The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Yellow Wallpaper, Adam Bede and Frankenstein. The majority of the extracts used are not taken from past papers, which gives you the opportunity to use past papers for revision purposes later in your teaching. I’m new to sharing resources on TES, so if you do download the resources I would really appreciate a review :)
