My name is Richard and I have been teaching these two subjects, as well as running Business and Economics departments, for the best part of 40 years. Having recently retired I have decided to post these videos to help Business A level students achieve the grades that they deserve.
Business A level is suitable for use as; a self-study course, for examination revision and booster sessions, private tuition and cover work for staff absence which can be delivered by a non-specialist teacher. It is a complete 10 unit course covering; Introduction to Business, Management and Leadership, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Business Strategy (3) and Managing Change.
It comprises question and answer Powerpoint videos delivered with the teacher on screen . It is accompanied by student friendly note taking material which can be easily monitored. Also included are conventional editable Powerpoint slides ( in excess of 1000). Each unit is assessed by a multiple-choice section with solutions.

3.7 Analysing the strategic position of a business (Part Two) comprises; SWOT, PESTLE, CSR, Porter five forces, payback, ARR, net present value and sensitivity analysis.
3.4 Decision making to improve operational performance comprises; introduction to operations, added value, capacity, unit costs, labour productivity, JIT, lean production, quality control and assurance, TQM, methods of production, inventory control and outsourcing.
3.6 Decision making to improve human resource performance comprises; human resource objectives, internal and external influences, labour turnover , labour retention, productivity, job design, organisational design, HR plans, motivation and improving employer/employee relations.
