A step by step, scaffolded approach to teaching your students how to write an opinion paragraph with a topic sentence, two supporting sentences with two examples each and a closing sentence. There are two writing models; "Exercise and Eating Healthy" and "Think of Others". Each model has a graphic organizer to aid students in deconstructing the paragraph. This process helps students to intuit the structure of an opinion paragraph. It draws special attention to a six-step writing process; brainstorm, draft, share, edit, revise and publish. There is a checklist to aid students in monitoring their progress through a writing process. The workbook is printed on loose leaf notebook style paper. Two pages of some pages are provided to account for US/UK spelling variations. __________
