A reading comprehension pack based on some of the countries in Europe.
This will also help students further their geographical understanding and awareness.
Also included are two PowerPoints on The Continents and Europe to use in the introduction lessons. Video include links to YouTube videos reinforcing the concepts.
The pack includes 10 simple reading comprehensions. Each comprehension has five pages including activities that require students to recall events from the text and locate answers within the text. The last two pages will ask students to identify the country on a map and then practice their handwriting.

Also included are 8 flags for each country for the students to colour in.
These are based on the reading outcomes from the New Curriculum for Year 1 and 2.
Suitable for Year 1 and 2 and lower KS2 for lower ability students.
