The Trio Sci Cymru project aimed to increase the number of Welsh students who took up STEM subjects by involving school pupils in STEM programs led by expert outreach scientists. The £8m project was funded by the Welsh Government and the European Social Fund. Science workshops were delivered to KS3 pupils across Wales in partnership with Aberystwyth, Bangor, Cardiff, and Swansea Universities.
