I originally trained and taught as a Primary school teacher in the UK for several years before moving to The Caribbean. I was given the opportunity to teach my favorite subject (Math) at a Secondary level (middle and high school; G7-11) and jumped at the chance. I aim to make resources which are: 1. Simple but effective - the most important aspect of a teaching resource is that it works. 2. Dynamic - I believe in changing it up! 3. Repetition - students need to regularly repeat key skills.

Number Review Worksheets For Year 4 and 5

Number Review Worksheets These worksheets are suitable for students in years 4 and 5 to allow them to review key number concepts. They are a great time saver and can be used for 17 weeks of homework or regular in-class review. They are simple but effective, allowing children to revisit previous learning of number so they can retain basic skills. When completing these sheets students practice: place value: order numbers, state the value/place of digits arithmetic with whole numbers: mental and written addition and subtractions, multiply up to 3-digit multiplied by 2-digit numbers, up to 3digit divided by 1 digit. fractions: addition and subtraction (with different denominators) rounding: to the nearest 10, 100, 100 prime numbers factors and multiples: including highest common factor and lowest common multiple. The first sheet includes just place value and addition but each sheet covers a little more of the number curriculum. Sheets are in word format so can be edited if needed. They are designed for year 4/5 but would also be useful for revision for year 6.
