This fantastic FREE resource is for teachers of years 7-10 who want to help students improve their reading comprehension skills, particularly for exam preparation, such as NAPLAN or Victoria, Australia’s **Selective Entry High School **exam.
Each PowerPoint lesson explains the skill required and provides two example texts plus questions.
The questions cover the context behind the text as well as the linguistic and stylistic features of the text.
This Template for PowerPoint will help you create fun, picture, number or word- reveal memory games on any topic you choose - Includes Intructions for Changing Pictures without messing up the Animations!
Using PowerPoint features, you can change colours and effects of the cards and add words, numbers or pictures on the bottom cards that are revealed when clicked.
The Template is set to display images to do with witches as it was designed for the Witch Craze Unit in KS3 History but you can change these to anything you like!
All of the animations are set up and have been tested thoroughly. If you’re good with PowerPoint you can also change the animation styles and timings.
As mentioned, it is fully customisable, but if you don’t want to change anything but the images, then it is an out-of-the-box template, ready to use!
Instructions for changing pictures without messing up the animations are included from slide 2 of this Memory Game Template.
Be sure to follow these carefully otherwise the animations will not work.
