Tenth lesson for GCSE AQA Christianity beliefs paper. This lesson give the students the opportunity to revise and recap before taking assessment. This lesson is built around the AQA GCSE RE textbook and the resources included work best alongside this book.

Final assessment lesson in scheme of work aimed at KS3 focusing on what philosophy is.
Students will study study famous philosophers such as Socrates, Plato and Aristotle and consider how their thoughts and teachings are relevant to the modern world.

A full lesson that I use to introduce my year 10s to the AQA GCSE in RE. This lesson is planned for teaching Christianity and Islam however, it is easily adaptable to whichever religions/themes are taught at your school.
This lesson aims to set students up for success in their GCSEs by introducing them to the course, what we will study and how it will be assessed.
This is a full lesson and includes detailed keyword sheets for students to use throughout their GCSEs to get them used to using subject specific terminology. Students are made familiar with the AQA GCSE textbooks which I use regularly when teaching this course. Students are also exposed to the exams and how to do well in these.

Assessment lesson to scheme of work exploring Islam and it’s fundamental beliefs. The series has looked at the main beliefs and how Islam has become linked with terrorism.
Students are encouraged to recap previous learning and now put that into practice by completing assessment in the form of an AQA GCSE 12 mark question.

Third lesson in SOW looking at the main beliefs of Hinduism. This lesson looks a the festivals of Diwali and Holi. Students look at the stories behind each festival and how Hindus celebrate them today.

This lessons introduces students to the ethical debate that AI throws up focusing on how AI has changed jobs in this country and how driverless cars are programmed and where computers get their ethics from.

This lesson focuses on people whoe become victims of war and how organizations such as Islamic relief and Christian aid work to help them. This lesson allows pupils to discover the origins of AI and highlights the influence of Alan Turing. The lesson also gets pupils to think about the limits to AI by suggesting thing that people once thought “That will never happen”
Fifth lesson for GCSE AQA Religion, peace and conflict paper (Theme D). This lesson on religious reasons why wars happen and focuses on the Crusades and the Islamic belief in Jihad.
