This is the perfect document to guide your discussion after story time with questions to encourage children to think critically and imaginatively to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for Humphrey! High quality book talk is imperative in supporting a reading for pleasure attitude in our pupils. These questions provide a prompt for rich discussion questioning children’s perspectives on the book and what they like or dislike about it.

These beautiful cards are a great way to build relationships with parents as well as celebrating successes within the classroom. Simply personalise the ticket by writing on the pupil’s name and tick what you are celebrating OR write your own achievement message on the line at the bottom. Make the pupils in your class feel proud of themselves by showing your pride in their conduct at school.
Top Tip #1- Print these cards onto different coloured paper or card and have a stack printed ready for the school year to give out!

Save time, energy and tears with these Fix the friendship forms. Enable children to reflect on arguments and disgruntles by writing down what their ideal resolution would be.

This free download contains 8 cards aligned with the year 1 mathematics curriculum. The taster collection focuses on 4 cards linking to:
-The number objectives
-The addition and subtraction objectives.
All children need to do is pick a card, linked to their current or previous learning, scan the QR code and it takes them to a game linking to the objective written to the card at the bottom.
These cards are a great way to help children cement concepts and act as an extension activity in your planning.

Yayy summer is here! But do you ever worry about how much reading your new pupils will be doing over the summer holidays? This free download is the perfect way to encourage reading for pleasure and maintain healthy reading habits over the summer. This bingo style challenge encourages children to associate reading with fun by challenging them to read in new locations such as their summer holiday and listen to an audio book. Do you want a fun, quick and easy bank of activities for your pupils to delve into when they complete their work? If the answer is yes then this download is perfect for you! Based on the popular game, children pick a card and have to write as many objects or things fitting in with the categories and beginning with that letter. This is the perfect way to encourage reflective and critical thinking without there being the fear of wrong answers. Children will enjoy challenging themselves by having a go at the harder cards asking them to select their own letter and come up with answers for more categories.

Do you have a reversible emotion octopus in your class? If so then this is the perfect download for you to display to the children the purpose of the octopus.
