I am an impassioned and motivated educator who takes pride in maintaining high expectations of my students and of my own practice. I am keen to embrace professional development in the context of my subject pedagogy as well as continue my development as a leader in outdoor education. I am enthusiastic about taking a holistic approach to education, as each student is unique and needs to have their talents and abilities nurtured and developed both in and outside of the academic realm. I have experience in teaching the British National Curriculum in several UK schools, including KS3, GCSE English Language, GCSE English Literature and A’ Level Language and Literature, in addition to teaching some EAL learners. I am seeking a school community which values collaboration, research-driven pedagogy and holistic education highly, and endeavours to facilitate young people to become inspirational, compassionate and resilient members of a global society.
