Circle time template to be laminated and use as a hands on activity. Real pictures of this resource can be seen here: https://www.instagram.com/p/C_7hFaYx8hE/?igsh=MTA3djRsYjNqanNhag%3D%3D&img_index=1 This power point template includes several comments on how to use the resource and how to cut it - in doubt please do not hesitate to contact me :). This interactive session is designed to foster connection and engagement in the classroom keeping away from screens as much as possible (we use the whiteboard to play some songs but the circle time will be taking place at the horse shoe shaped table with a laminated version of the session). Pupils can choose different ways to greet their peers, empowering them to build social skills and confidence. During our sign-in process, pupils will either trace or form their names with letters based on their individual abilities. We will also complete the register together giving the pupils the opportunity to check who is in the classroom on that particular day, talk about the weather, the days of the week, their feelings… This approach not only enhances learning but also promotes a sense of community in the classroom. Thank you!

Communication Board for Story Comments: A visual communication board is included to help students express their thoughts and make comments on the story. It’s an excellent tool for encouraging interaction, especially for non-verbal students or those who need visual support to communicate. Fruit Flashcards (Real-life Pictures and Visual Symbols): This set contains both real-life images of fruits and visual symbols (communication inprint). These can be used for matching activities, helping students develop their recognition skills and reinforcing vocabulary related to fruits. Worksheets for Building 2- and 3-Part Sentences (Colourful Semantics): These worksheets follow the Colourful Semantics approach, guiding students to create simple sentences. Students can start by building 2-part sentences (subject + verb) and progress to more complex 3-part sentences (subject + verb + object), aiding their understanding of sentence structure and language development.
