A lesson to introduce the nervous system. Suitable for higher ability KS2 students or KS3 students (or possible lower ability KS4 students). Practical involved using a paper clip opened up and using it to touch different areas of the skin to see if there is a difference in sensitivity. Introduces students to the role of the nervous system, sense organs, stimuli, receptors and includes practical skills in terms of identifying variables.
