Three of the characters are flying around Europe and need your help with the equations of the lines for their route. There are three (all on the same sheet) that get increasingly difficult. Depending on the confidence in this topic topic, start them where you see fit.

I need help converting pounds to euros, miles to kilometres and temperatures. My phone has run out of battery so I have to use a conversion graph to make a best estimate. There are a few silly pictures of me and my head on celebrity bodies to add a bit of fun.

This is designed to be a starting point for simplifying expressions containing different letters and how different letters must remain separate. I've use the apples and bananas thing purely because I couldn&'t think of anything better.

I was trying to make fairly simple angles problems a little more interesting through the medium of Star Wars for a lower ability class and this is what I came up with. Angles on a line, angles around a point and parallel lines. For those who are Star Wars experts, I've been liberal with a few facts but for a reason.

This is using the famous racing game to revise angle properties with parallel lines.

I found the cartoon on the first slide on Twitter (I'm sorry, I forget where) and I thought that my students could probably brush up on their Pythagorean triples like Batman. This was the result. The Powerpoint is animated and the Notebook file has screen shades, depending on the software at your disposal and your preference. There is a table of answers on the final slide of both files too.

This is a discussion activity for use with lower ability classes and solving equations. Funnily enough, this sort of thing does normally happen to me, although not at a cinema showing equations films!

This was my attempt to get a worksheet that incorporates all the basic loci: perpendicular bisector, angle bisector, from a point and shading a region. You could add stuff if you like, but I ran out of room for the instructions, hence just the 4 tasks. The answers are rough based on the ones I did with pencil and compass.

Whilst perusing Twitter after England's heavy defeat to Australia I came across this graphic posted by @skycricket which gave me the idea of using it for a maths discussion on data. You don&'t really need to know anything about cricket, just a basic understanding of statistics. It is designed to encourage some literacy and explanation.

A student gave me the name and I came up with the rest. Simple ratio and proportion. I have done a worksheet but will probably use it as a powerpoint and get them to do the answers. The ratios don't get massively difficult, so more for lower ability I would say.

Help William 'Billy' Black anaylise the data he has to see if he will make enough before his abduction by aliens. This includes reading pictograms, bar charts, pie charts, frequency polygons, finding three averages and estimating the mean. I'm sure you can all come up with other calculations/interpretations that they can make too! Hopefully I have corrected the typo too.

This was done using a free piece of software (search online for 'Physics Tracker') to track objects and plot a distance/time graph. I designed it to be a discussion activity, explaining what's happening at each stage of the graph.
