Lowest Common Multiple Listing (LCM)
Two worksheets scaffolded to help with the process of finding the lowest common multiple between numbers. The scaffolding include listing the multiples. Identifying any common multiples. Then identifying the lowest common multiple.
Two worksheets - 1 worksheet on finding the lowest common multiple of 2 numbers. The second worksheet is on finding the lowest common multiple of 3 numbers.
Both worksheets come with full worked solutions.
Function Machines (Low Ability)
A variety of resources on function machines for low ability groups. These resources include 1-step, 1-step reverse, 2-step and 2-step reverse worksheets. These are great to allow students to grasp the concept with easier numbers before moving on to more challenging arithmetic. This worksheet is scaffolded with the first few questions showing all lengths and then removing 2 of the lengths, then followed by working in reverse when given the perimeter. This worksheet is adapted and aimed for lower ability groups but could serve as an introduction for other groups to build on.

Worksheets on the area and circumference of circles. Worksheets start with the normal radius or diameter given for each circle depending on the topic and then progress to having to adapt what you are given.

Plotting Coordinates - Decode the Maths Joke
Plotting Coordinates Practice Grid.
Plot the coordinate and then find the corresponding letter. This will allow your students to decode a Maths Joke with the Answer.
Have done this activity with a few classes this year and had been a great hit. A ‘different’ activity to get then practicing coordinates.
Numbersearch - Multiples and Factors
Numbersearches to test students ability to identify multiples of different numbers and their ability to find factors in ascending order.
The multiples numbersearch is more aimed for the lower ability classes but also a great ‘fun’ activity to keep them engaged.
The factors numbersearch has two different types of worksheet. One with no hints more aimed at more able students/those more confident. The second has more structure indicating how many factors they should be looking for.

2 scaffolded worksheets for finding the area and volume scale factors. Really great to build confidence and builds in difficulty. Enables lower ability groups to grasp the concept before removing the scaffold but also allowing those more able to be challenged with two reverse questions at the end of the worksheet.
