Resource for KS1 and Kindergarten. Based on the story of The Princess and the Pea. Hand drawn pictures for the children to cut out, sequence, write about and colour in. To differentiate: Support could cut out and sequence the pictures Core children can sequence and use the word bank to also write about the pictures More able children can sequence and write independently with given challenges such as ‘Include at least 3 time adverbials’ Sequencing activities usually take a few sessions. Cut, order and stick the activities. Writing captions for the first half of the images Writing for the second half of the activities I usually ask the children to colour after they have met the objectives for that session and finish colouring in at the end. Black and white. No colour ink needed!
