A workbook based on ‘The Gruffalo’ for KS1, Kindergarten, Grade 1. Includes 10 pages of activities for children to practise and consolidate their spelling, grammar and punctuation work. This booklet could be used by the children independently after the objectives and been taught and used as an assessment tool or simply as an independent work book. Useful for guided reading or even as a homework pack. The booklet has a “Word work” section, covering areas such as nouns, adjective, verbs and noun phrases. The teaching materials in this booklet suggest an order for teaching letters and provide a selection of activities to support learning and practising reading and writing with the sounds learned.
