(0)
One long lesson or two short lessons exploring different ethical perspectives about Animal Rights. The ethical concept explored is Speciesism - (the idea that humans are superior to other animals),by examining perspectives from Humanist and Utilitarian view points. Christian views about animal rights are then investigated using the concepts of stewardship and dominion as a framework. This is a comprehensive lesson, which includes discussion points, worksheets, a class task and videos.
