This full set of questions based on Edexcel five themes cover all the aspects of speaking questions. The speaking questions include English translation and relevant vocabulary in English, pinyin and characters. This is suitable for self-learning, personal tuition or whole class work. The speaking questions can be used for testing students to form questions and learning how to structure answers with appropriate vocabulary, also as a test for translation tasks. The core vocab helps students to master the 90% of the content. This set of vocab lists can easily be edited and used for AQA GCSE Chinese too. Very powerful and essential revision materials.
This powerpoint includes 6 kinethetic challenges that are related to Chinese culture, art and writing. The challenges altogether can be used as a 2-hour workshop alone just to spice up the fun of learning Chinese. I used it for one of the field day sessions and it worked wonders! The kids love it!
Under the slides there are also description and explanation on how to play the games. It is suitable for the number of students between 20 -50. All the challenges are hyper-linked to the right slide, so that it is easy to manipulate for teachers.
This 26-page powerpoint contains the most used radicals which can help enhancing the reading techniques. In reading, when there is a word students don’t know they can always guess the meaning by checking the radicals.
This revision pack is more challenging in a sense that quite a few exercises use vocabulary not in the unit, but this will fit the new GCSE requirement perfectly. Again, it includes all the chapters for a holistic revision, perfect for homework/revision/holiday work/self-study work.

In this video, we are going to learn and master the content about environmental protection. This is one of the most advanced topics in new Chinese GCSE, but I will take you through under 10 minutes.
The booklet companion can be completed by the students when they listen to the conversation. It contains three parts: original conversation, full GCSE vocab list and translation tasks corresponding to the video.
The translation booklets contain both English to Chinese and Chinese to English. This will help you fast-forward the progress. It is also suitable for home learning.
