This is my favourite optical illusion and it’s not well known. Could be used as an interactive starter in Physics, Biology or Art. I have used this several times for Science Week assemblies - a hall full of students audibly stunned at how their own eyes work. Strongly recommended.

The pdf file allows students to independently learn and practise the A-level series and parallel resistance equations. Students use this pdf file on iPads/ phones. The emphasis is on student independence in the classroom. You should be able to put your feet up while students teach themselves this topic for 10-15mins. The difficulty is graded for every question ★★★☆☆ The formatting enabled me to use the questions on our remote learning platform. I tried to choose questions with interesting examples.
