An interactive powerpoint to reinforce understanding of saying how you feel in response to the question ‘comment ca va?’. 8 emojis representing ca va bien/ca va mal/ je suis triste/je suis fatigue/je suis fache/je suis malade/j’ai peur and j’ai honte. Pupils come up to the IWB and pick a box. This leads them to a question slide. I they choose the correct answer they will be taken to a celebration slide, but if they choose the incorrect answer the powerpoint will return them to the question again. To accompany this quiz is a worksheet and a free video.

A place card for pupils to complete and color. A great way to get to know their names during half term 1 and for them to get to know the 3 first questions: como te llamas, cuantos anos tienes and donde vives? There is space on the back of the card for them to write their answers so they can always see them.

Two simple worksheet to practise weather phrases and describe the weather in France.

Could give out as an extension tool for early finishers. Give them out upon arrival and give them a time frame. At the end of the timeframe pupils go head to head in a 'bidding war'. Each pupil says how many they can translate and have to prove it. The highest bidder goes first- if he can get to his bid he wins, if he can't the next bidder goes and has to get to his highest bid to win.
