Main objective for this lesson is to look at exam technique by looking at some pre-written answers to questions and determining why they lost marks
6 questions, students have to use the information posters (which contain red herrings) to get the correct answers. First person back with a correct answer to a question gets 10 points, 9 for the next etc.
Practical task into amplitude and pitch using rulers. Students have to be able to describe any sound in terms of amplitude and pitch by the end of the lesson
Posters of information about each stage should be spread around your room. Students then use the template to determine the order of the life cycle. They are then required to answer one or both of the 6 mark questions. This takes a double lesson with me.
Lesson looking at Nuclear Fission. My lesson is based on an iPad lesson and the students having access to the files and Keynote. However, you could print out the resources and do cut and stick.
Sequencing tasks have the students order the steps for fission. 1 is easier, 3 more difficult
