Safer Sex Aces - A 'Trumps' Card Game About Safer Sex and Contraception

(0)
Safer Sex Aces is a ‘trumps’ style card game. Each card competes against the other cards in various categories (availability, ease of use, pregnancy protection, years in use and STI protection) with the winning card taking all the other cards in play. Full instructions are included. Unlike other lessons about safer sex, this isn’t just about contraception and it’s certainly not just about entry sex. So it’s a truly inclusive resource. In addition to the card game I’ve also created some teaching slides for you to highlight particular cards but also to highlight your own local sexual health services. This is a download, print, chop game so you’ll need to print the cards (on 4 sheets of A4) onto thick card and then cut them with a paper trimmer. It takes me about 10 minutes to whip up a set, you can print off more than one set at a time – which makes this a great value resource! This is the brand new 2017 edition – all new and improved. New graphics – in keeping with the new Bish style Even more inclusive of gender and sexual diversity Now with a choice of colours to print from.

Planet Porn - let's talk about porn

Comprehensive selection of fun, participatory and evidence based activities and resources to help people to be critical about sex on Planet Porn but also on Planet Earth. As well as talking about porn this download resource pack enables conversations around self-esteem, body image, boundaries, pleasure, consent, communication, safer sex, sexual safety, the law, emotions, relationships, gender and sexual diversity and oppression. “We have been using the planet porn with young people who have committed sexually harmful behaviour and I can honestly say it’s been superb.” What’s in the pack? The pack contains a number of activities and resources which all come in a pdf and a powerpoint document: so you have the choice to print the resources out or use them as slides to teach with and to move the images around to suit. Planet Porn Game A straight forward card discussion game. Take it in turns to decide whether the statement belongs on ‘Planet Earth’ (real life sex) or ‘Planet Porn’ (porn sex) (or somewhere in between the two – which is most likely). Now with 42 cards! Each card has new and improved explanatory notes to aid discussion and learning. Also now easier to print. Is It Legal, Is It Right? This activity provides a brief factual analysis of current UK law around porn. It also presents various scenarios relating to porn which may be relevant to many young people, raising various ethical issues around sex tapes, watching porn under age and privacy. NEW! Sexting Posters, Images and Handouts Exclusive posters and handouts for you to use in conjunction with the other activities in the pack. Like the Bish Leaflets you can print your own as many times as you like. All the information that young people need to stay safe and make informed decisions (without scary moral panics). Porn Challenge This activity challenges people to think of ways to present sexy scenes and images which are safe, consensual, promote equality and diversity and don’t make assumptions about who may be watching porn. Dear Doctor Love A problem page activity which explores relationship issues like trust, intimacy, boundaries, safety, jealousy, independence, self-esteem and communication through the medium of problems that a partner of a pornstar or glamour model might face. NEW! Where Do People See Sexual Images An activity exploring what we mean by ‘sexual images’, where people see them and what they might see. Great for opening up the conversation and for introducing Planet Porn. NEW! Summary of the Evidence for Young People and Porn Summary of the most authoritative reviews and research into exactly how many young people look at porn, what the effects might be and what they do with it.

This pack encourages critical thinking about relationships and encourages people to find their own answers and to write their own love stories. Healthy Relationships Graph Students use the unique relationships graph to examine fictional relationships scenarios. Relationship Fortunes A fun game based on Family Fortunes where students guess top answers to questions such as “what’s the most important quality in a partner” “name something you wouldn’t do on a first date” and “what’s the worst chat up line you’ve ever heard.” The Ideal Partner Auction A very very competitive game which helps students to think about what qualities are important in a partner and a relationship. Chat Up Lines and Starting Relationships An opportunity to think about gender roles, stigma and self-esteem and the role they play in how we might go about starting relationships. Talk For A Minute For people to talk and to listen to each other about their relationships values. A unique and fun way of getting the discussion going with real and relevant discussion cards. Why Do People Have Romantic Relationships A simple but effective way of talking about the many different possibilities for different kinds of relationships. Relationship Venn Diagrams A unique way of exploring different relationship dynamics that we may have in different contexts. Who You Are and Who You Like To spend time thinking about ourselves and what we might want a relationship to give us. This, like the rest of the pack, also gives us the opportunity to reflect on our relationship with ourselves. As you can see I utilise lots of different learning methods in these activities to really get students engaged and involved. There’s so much here that students don’t want the lessons to end.

The Consent Teaching Pack

The Consent Teaching Pack is a download and print resource. Packed with activities which help participants to explore their values and learn vital communication and skills. There are unique activities for people to experience consent as well as learn what it is. Like all my resources, this Consent Teaching Pack is a download and print your own pack. I’ve been developing some these consent activities for years and have delivered these resources with young people, adults, and professionals. My feedback from all of these folks is that the activities have enabled them to explore consent in much greater depth than many other teaching or workshop activities. My lofty ambitions for this consent teaching pack are: for people to start to see consent as affecting all of us; that it is not just to do with sex; and how we can use our power to bring consent into all of our relationships, interactions, and cultures. Don’t be put off by this though! I hope that you will find the activities easy and fun to use. These resources are designed to be used with ‘14s to adult’ audiences (though some are adaptable to a younger age group). There is increasing interest in consent workshops for all ages in schools, colleges, universities, workplaces, conferences and other events. There is plenty here for you to find the right activity and the right tone for your lesson plan and workshop.

Relationships & Sex Education Worksheets

The Bish Activity Book for Practitioners — innovative worksheets for you to print out and use in Relationships and Sex Education (RSE), from BISH, one of the leading sex and relationships advice websites for young people. This activity book is a companion piece to BISH to help young people to make sense of relationships and sex for themselves. It’s about asking students some big questions to help them work out how they feel about themselves and relationships and sex. To that end there are worksheets around self-esteem, self-care, relationships, feeling better about our bodies, sex, consent and communication in this resource. As well as some of these more serious worksheets there are also fun activities such as join the dots, spot the difference, colouring-in, and a board game. With the two approaches combined I hope that young folk will be able to have some of the outcomes of good RSE. However, even a comprehensive advice website and an accompanying activity book is no substitute for good classroom RSE. Having a space where people can discuss the big topics that I cover in this resource can be invaluable to them. Total number of pages – 51 Page size – A4 Instant download 180 dpi resolution
