Hi fellow teachers, thanks for coming to my shop. I have over 15 years of teaching experience and all my observations have always been 'outstanding'. I pride myself in creating resources that ACTUALLY help students learn rather than those with bells and whistles. I like to create straight forward resources and find that students love this approach. All my resources are tried and tested; I only post stuff that works really well. I hope you find my stuff useful. Happy Teaching :)

This resource is priceless. It has taken me around 5 hours to format this template exactly like the full AQA 8700 Paper 1 exam, including all the questions (section A and B), set out exactly as in the paper, even with the boxes for the marks etc. . All you have to do is fill in the bits. You can use this again and again for years to come. Trust me, this is well worth the money! When you look at the preview, the second page looks blank with a few misaligned boxes, however when you down load it, it looks as it should. Please give me feedback. If you like it, let me know and I will do the templates for the other papers too.

This sheet explains to students how to format a paragraph when wrting about language. It gives students starter sentences and scaffolds the paragraph for them. This does not look fancy (you can change the foemat etc) but is really useful and students really appreciate and use it. I have them stick it to the back inside cover and everytime they analyse language they use it. Excellent for showing differenciation too.

This is for students to stick on the inside cover of their book. It is a list of all the things they should know how to do by the end of their GCSE course - can also be used for KS3. All the skills are listed with a red, amber or green box for pupils to tick. I ask students to look at it termly so they can see where they are in their learning.

This is a whole unit (16-18 lessons). Each lesson has LO, starter , main task and plenary. I have taught this to Year 7s and Year 8s and both years absolutely loved it. The unit incorporates tasks that will develop student’s reading skills. I have the full text on word, however have not published it for copyright reasons. If you would like it, please private message me.

AQA -AO2-How to write about the structure of a text

This is a very useful template for students to use to understand what to write about structure. It can be used along side any text to give students a clear understanding of what structure means and the different ways they can gain marks for commenting/analysing structure. I promise your students will find this really helpful. It is on word so you can modify as you wish. It is also scaffolded and can be used for differentiation.
