A range of worksheets on Christmas in France- a match up of vocabulary, a crossword using same vocabulary and anagrams of the words to help with the spelling of these words. There is also a gap fill in French which I then use as a translation about the christmas/epiphany period in France.
I have used this for two lessons of cover work - students must use the sentence builder to complete a set of activities which include: 5 minute word finding challenge, wordsearch, match-up, gapped translation, bad translation, put in the gaps and other things
Activities to extend beyond the book - includes tile translation, battleships, one pen -one dice, running dictation (requires you to print the texts from book), etc
Rules on verb second idea - correct the mistakes activity
Sentence builder - I would do lots of mini WB practice with this
Writing task with example and mini teacher section where they mark another students work
Pyramid translation activity - done in 3s to practise vocabulary recognition of chapter 2 stimmt 1, and to give students a model answer frame for their writing assessment on this unit
I give this and the vocabulary pages at the end of the chapter

I use the reading and listening tasks from textbook with these activities to fill a double lesson
I use the assessment practice pages - the first two reading as my retrieval task at the start too
3 texts in French - one on Jean Moulin to read and annotate with English summary gap fill with answers, one shorter french text on the CNR with comprehension questions in english and task to highlight where the information is in French, and final text on role of women to annotate with examples of two key women
Research tasks on some given french women who played a part in the french resistance to do with the FLA

Make every sqaure count - pupils must find the sentence chunks and colour them the colour it says - every square must be coloured at the end - approx 20 minute task with mixed ability group
