This presentation was created to celebrate the historic anniversary but can be used at any time to teach your students about the suffragettes and the Bill in parliament that allowed suffrage for women.
This resource is a 24 slide detailed, editable PowerPoint, perfect for teaching your children about this important topic. This is a detailed, 10 slide presentation on the suffragette, Emily Davison, who became a martyr for the suffragette movement when she ran in front of the king's horse.
Use it as part of a lesson or for an assembly. The presentation covers Emily's education, before moving onto her actions in the suffragette movement, her imprisonment and finally her death and legacy.
