These Year 2 SATs style 'number, place value and sequences' revision questions are split into 3 differentiated levels. Each level contains 30 SATs style problems with answers. The higher level (Super Super Challenge) contains questions covering the Year 2 and Year 3 curriculum and is in the style of a SATs paper. The intermediate level (Super Challenge) contains questions covering the Year 2 curriculum and is based on past SATs papers. The lower level (called Challenge) contains questions covering the Year 1 curriculum. No further preparation required.

This resource is a comprehension activity for year 2. It is a fictional newspaper report, which I have written from the point of view of a reporter the day after Edith Cavell was shot. It is based on the KS1 SATs reading paper and includes 3 differentiated levels. There are a range of 'what' 'where' and 'when' questions, some multiple choice tick questions and some that require more detailed answers.
