This is a presentation on the nurse Edith Cavell, who sacrificed her own life for the soldiers she cared for in World War I. Use it as part of a lesson or for an assembly for KS1 or KS2. The presentation covers Edith’s childhood, early career, war work and legacy. The last part of the presentation includes some interesting questions to provoke discussion or for further exploration.
