This 2 page document has 2 stimuli for students to interpret in an interview setting; a cartographic source and a graphical source.
Questions for the interviewer are provided.
Good practice for a stretch and challenge/Oxbridge preparation session.
Interactive climate change workshop KS5/4 Group activities
Climate change workshop pack intended to stimulate discussion, rather than following a textbook, with group activities such as:
Mentimeter poll ‘taking the temperature’ using interactive technology
Group discussions with resources
Higher order thinking with ranking along a spectrum activity
These slides and resources can be used for 2-3 hour special session on climate change or can be used in lessons (see separate resource in my folder for a tailored series of 3 lessons).
Students complete an icebreaker activity, then are taught or are able to revise natural causes of climate change, leading to discussion and videos on anthropogenic causes, then an activity on mitigation and adaption strategies.
