This is a whole lesson based on Science Spot’ Christmas chromatography activity. It is aimed at KS3 Science students, but can be done with KS2 or KS4 SEN pupils also. The aim is to get pupils producing hanging Christmas decorations using chromatography. It is an alternative to watching a video at the end of term. It can take a whole lesson to complete this game. I use this in revision lessons at the end of a topic. 20 questions can be created by a teacher or by the students and scores recorded on the template. The rules to the game are on the powerpoint.
