I have been teaching since 2003 and have been a HOD, HOY an Assistant Head. Further I have been an examiner for over 10 years, and am a Lead Examiner and Assessment Writer for A level History. As a result I have developed a deep understanding of what skills and knowledge students need, in order to make progress and become lifelong learners. I believe good teaching resources are well designed through taking into consideration what students must learn and which enable them to achieve depth and mastery in their understanding and knowledge and develop application skills so they make good progress and acquire a love of learning.
