I am a nuclear physicist, teaching for five years for the US Navy's Nuclear propulsion program before entering secondary teaching. My specialism is Physics but I have some experience teaching chemistry at GCSE. I enjoy using discovery models and inquiry in teaching KS3 science and focus on meta cognition and understanding instead of rote memorization.
