Clear guidance for pupils - requires them to research the effects of flooding in Keswick. Ideal project to apply basic knowledge of flooding - why they occur, effects and responses. Level descriptors developed for a year 7 class where the maximum target was a 3 (in line with new GCSE grading system). Key words, checklist and a pupil reflection section for them to complete prior to the project. Could be set as a homework or done within lessons.
