Science Space Project -Building a Planet
The following is a fun and engaging space project that students can undertake.
There are two projects in this file what students can do.
The first project is to create a planet using various resources like Polystyrene balls, paint, plasticine paper mache etc. Pupils must also research what will make their planet Habitable - with links to Biology and why certain aspects like the sun and Gravity are important for life.
The second project is simply for the students who are unable to get hold of the resources. The project is for them to do research into the planets/ISS in our solar system and is independent on what they want to do! However there are starting points that they can look into.

Science Project - Structures in Nature
The following project looks at amazing structures found in nature
Overview:
It’s based around structures in nature and contains 3 practical/building elements based on Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
Chemistry - Allotropes of Carbon, properties etc and its uses in modern medicine + Practical element is to build a buckyball!
Physics - Hexagons in Nature and why they’re important e.g. looking at energy and decreasing it + Cooking elements - Make some honeycombs.
Biology - Viruses, learn about the different structures of viruses, how they infect us and how our body fights back + Practical Element - students make their own Bacteriophages!
