Map Symbols Bingo

These are bingo cards produced for KS3 students to introduce and reinforce the learning of the OS map symbols 1:25000 Explorer. The cards to call out can be found on the OS website. I usually start the game by calling out the number and show the symbol as well as the name and as the students get used to the symbols gradually drop the number of the card, then the symbol until only the name is called. The students greatly enjoy this game - especially when prizes are given to the winners!
