This a lessons activity that can be completed independently as an a task set online or for cover.
It will help your students set New Years resolutions and write a short essay about why they are setting them.
In this bundle you will find my Christmas English lessons (aimed at yrs 8/9). This explores Christmas Traditions and provides suggested reading tasks (due to copy-right I cannot supply these) for the critical analysis task and creative writing task.
The second resources is a fun 25 question Christmas themed quiz with answers at the end!
Depending on ability these combined resources should last a minimum of 3 lessons.

This resource details 33 slides of tasks, teacher notes and information and activities. The lessons are aimed at grade 7/8 (USA) year 8/9 students (UK). There are at least 3 lessons worth of activities depending on your class ability and personal teacher choices. I encourage you to adapt this to your students needs and abilities. This would suit those last few days of term where you need something educational but seasonal and fun to do (but you are just too tired to make the slides yourself)
